Description: CachePal is an Internet Explorer extension that provides single-click deletion of your internet browsing history, temporary internet files, and cookies straight from the Internet Explorer toolbar.
We were recently using a website optimization tool at work that required all cookies to be deleted every time we wanted to make a change to the page or to refresh the website we were working on. We were using Internet Explorer, and typically, to delete cookies I use CCleaner, but in this case it was not practical to keep jumping to another program (much less wait for it to do its entire system cleaning thing or fiddle with its setting to only clean the cache). The easiest way to do it was to go into Tools > Internet options and hunt for the clear cache command there.
I had long ago come across a plugin for Firefox which cleared the cache, temp files and browsing history straight from the browser toolbar (whose name I forget - please remind us the comments). I began searching for an extension for Internet Explorer that does that when I found CachePal. With CachePal, all you have to do to clear your browsing history, temporary internet files, and cookies is click a button one time, straight from the browser.
Needless to say this can be much more practical than using a system and/or drive cleaning software, since (a) you are more likely to remember to and actually do it, and (b) if you are a website developer you might need to clear the cache over and over when working on a project, and it’s so much easier to just have that functionality in the toolbar.
Once installed go to the “Customize Command Bar” > “Add or Remove Commands” and then add the CachePal button to your browser toolbar.
Wish list: Although there’s a certain attraction to it’s 1-click simplicity, it would be cool if you could right click the CachePal button and delete just the history or the cache, etc, or “all” by default.

Description: Shock Aero delivers to Windows XP, 2000, and 2003 the ability to emulate the 3D program selection (Alt+Tab) style employed by Vista Aero or the Macintosh grid/tile program selection screen.
I remember when Vista was first launched so many people in so many forums and freeware groups wanted a utility that does the 3D Aero Alt+Tab program selection for Windwos XP, 2000, and 2003. Shock Aero does exactly this and delivers this function quite competently. Here are some notes on this one.
Uses Windows+Tab as hotkey, or you can launch by left-clicking on the system tray icon to. Press the hotkey multiple times or use the mousewheel to scroll through the multiple programs/selections.
Your system’s Alt+Tab behavior remains unchanged.
Does a really good job with its 3D screen output.
Uses 15 megs in memory, which although isn’t quite lightweight isn’t a lot, especially considering the 3D functionality that this program provides.
Select Vista Aero or Mac style from the options in the system tray (where you can also set it to start with Windows).
Does it contain malware?:
all the programs from this author prompt one of the anti malware programs that I use, Comodo BOClean, to intervene and warn of a trojan. I strongly suspect that this is a false positive, and have scanned the file with a handful of other products that I trust without issue. I have also emailed Comodo regarding this. Once and if I get a response I will modify this review accordingly, but until then, and despite my endorsement of this product, you install it at your own risk.
All in all a very nice freeware program that will provides to XP users one of the nicer features in Windows Vista. If you want more Vista bells and whistles on your XP machine check out Vista Visual Styles Pack.

Shock Sticker v2.93 - Office Utility [English]

Description: Shock Sticker is a desktop “sticky” notes program that offers a full range of features including full rich text editing, alarms, passwords, and quick notes transfer to other users of the program. Notes can be hidden and retrieved from the tray icon or minimized to small floating icons on the desktop.
In the past few days I’ve come across no less than three desktop notes programs that I had not seen before. Most noteworthy of these is Shock Sticker, because (a) it offers a full range of features, and (b) has a very nice/useable method of minimizing notes so that they are easily within reach but do not crowd the screen.
Although I find desktop sticky notes programs to be interesting and useful, I stopped using them some time ago simply because I had so many on-screen at one time that my screen was too cluttered, and I remember minimizing/maximizing them to the application in the system tray was less than intuitive. What I like about this program is that it minimizes your notes to a small floating icons on the desktop that take very little space on the one hand but keep all of your notes readily accessible on the other (see screenshot). Here are some notes on this program:
Minimizing/hiding: notes can be minimized to floating icons, or hidden and retrieved using the program’s tray icon. You can easily hide and show all notes if you need to (or otherwise unhide or maximize just the note you need).
Display: you can use a little red pushpin on the note itself to keep it showing on top of other windows (works for when note is maximized or minimized). A note’s color can be easily changed. You can select one of the default available colors or, if they aren’t to your liking, create your own color schemes in the program options.
Editing: offers full rich text editing. The editing toolbar (on the note itself) can be easily shown or hidden, which is quite cool. URLs typed into a note are ’live’ and will open in the browser when clicked.
Titles: each note has a title that can be edited freely. Seems like an obvious feature but is in fact sometimes absent from sticky notes programs.
Searching: you can find text within a note, or use the ’find’ command from the app’s system tray to search across all notes.
Passwords: can be set for individual notes such that a user is unable to maximize or unhide a locked note without one. Although you can set an application level password (rather than individually) it did not seem to work when I tested it.
Alarms: can be set for each note.
Connectivity: notes can be instantly sent to an IP address or to someone on the network who is running the application on their machine. Note that I did not test this feature myself.
Sound effects: this program features clicking and whizzing sounds whenever you use its different functions. This was a little strange at first but I soon grew to like it. You can switch sound effects off from the options page.
Memory use: takes about 12 megs in memory, which is not a lot for this type of program.
Wish list (or how this program can be even better):
URL linking: I would love to see the ability to link a word to a URL, such that I do not need to clutter a note with the full URL and can use it as a de-facto bookmark manager.
Snapping to edges: for minimized or maximized notes, it would be fantastic if there was an option whereby these magnetically snapped together (or close together) whenever they were within x pixels of each other.
Import/export notes function.
The verdict: this program came out of nowhere to become my favorite sticky notes. It does not offer PDA support, as Stickies does for example (another excellent freeware stickies program), but I find that to be a nonissue myself. Highly recommended.

1. Can not handle two-byte directories normally sometime.
Basic principle:
1. Operator Logo is a special message stored in your phone. If SD card is used as your storage of messages, the logo should be in the directory sd: \private\1000484b\Mail2.
2. This software can, for the first time, remove your Mail2 directory, and export your desire logo into it, but your previous messages in Mail2 will be destroyed. Backup is suggested.
3. After the first using of this software, NokiaLogo will just update your logo in Mail2, instead of removing the whole directory.
Usage£º
1. Make a picture
This picture must be 128*32 size and black-white only.
Using windows paint to save your picture with black-white mode is suggested.
2. Connect SD card to computer
3. Run NokiaLogo
When you use NokiaLogo for the first time, backup of Mail2 is strongly suggested.
1). Double-click preview image to load new picture.
2). Right-click preview image to choose load/reverse/mirror in popup menu.
3). Choose a proper operator in the dropdown box.
4). Choose correct SD card drive.
5). Click ¡®export¡¯ button.
4. Disconnect computer. Change your phone into normal profile. At messaging->options->settings->other->memory in use, use SD card as storage. Then open ¡®inbox¡¯ and find a message with the logo, and save it.
5. Then you can see a wonderful logo in the top of your display.
